The SC HIV Planning Council meets in person as least five times per year. Additional meetings may be scheduled if there is a compelling and specific need to do so.

Three HPC Standing Committees (Care & Support Services, Needs Assessment, and Prevention) meet in breakout sessions during the day-long HPC meeting and are encouraged to also meet in between the HPC meetings (either in person or via conference call). The Consumer Advisory Committee generally meets the day before the HPC meeting and also may meet as needed otherwise). The Membership Committee meets as needed to address specific HPC and/or membership needs. Workgroups and affiliated advisory groups meet as needed by the specific group.
