BACKGROUND
Since January 2024, the NA Committee has been hard at work developing an assessment that will enhance the quality of life for individuals living with HIV in SC by addressing the intersection of HIV and mental health. The objectives of this assessment are to establish an information baseline of:
-
mental health knowledge of individuals living with HIV
-
the current quality of mental health and substance use care for individuals living with HIV
-
the availability of mental health resources for individuals living with HIV
The NA Committee has also discussed various ways to use information gained, such as
-
additional assessments
-
sharing information with providers
-
sharing information with other SC HPC committees for follow up
REQUEST
As a voting member of the SC HIV Planning Council, the NA Committee is asking that you review the attached assessment. As you review, a few things we would like you to note are:
-
We would like to receive meaningful data, so if you have an idea of how we can word a question better to get quality responses, please let us know
-
We would like the assessment to be in plain language, so if you feel a question needs to be clearer, please feel free to make suggestions of how to restate it
-
Typos, grammatical errors, and even the erroneous use of outdated language are inevitable. Please note anything that needs to be corrected. No suggestion is too negligible. We want to hear from you and will review all suggestions.
WHEN IS FEEDBACK NEEDED
We ask that you review and provide your feedback by close of business on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
HOW DO YOU COMMUNICATE YOUR FEEDBACK
