HIV AND THE INTERSECTION OF MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES ASSESSMENT

Purpose Statement
To enhance the quality of life for individuals living with HIV in SC by addressing the intersection of HIV and mental health through awareness, risk reduction, and care coordination.

Privacy Statement
All assessment responses will be anonymous, meaning no one will be able to link a response to a specific person.

Mental health can be experienced in many ways among different groups of people. People with HIV (PWH) are likely to have mental health needs that change over time. The South Carolina HIV Planning Council’s Needs Assessment Committee is interested in learning from PWH in South Carolina about their mental health awareness. An assessment has been developed that includes mental health-related topics to explore connections between living with HIV and mental health.

The Needs Assessment Committee values all feedback from those who choose to participate in the assessment. If interested, assessment participants will be placed into a drawing to receive a monetary gift card as a thank you for their time and insights. Assessment responses will be used to help improve mental health for PWH in South Carolina and hopefully other locations as well.

If you fit the assessment’s description, we would love to hear from you! To start the assessment, please click on the link below.
